Coltrane’s Reign
by Catfish McDaris
Fat folks will suffer,
Cedrick yelled on the dock,
we unloaded mail
Sweating animals
in the Brew City post office
Coltrane blasting loud
Quiet men like jazz,
black clouds bursting with thunder
no rain no refrain.
